Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Having a wedding at a church is a very common practice for most Christian couples. What makes a church the perfect place? A Christian couple believes that their church is a sacred place where they can have God be their #1 witness and the one who will be closest to them in their new life together.

A regular place for families and friends to gather is at their church, so when a couple gets married, this is the place they choose to bring everyone together. A Christian couple hopes that all the prayers from their loved ones will bring them better luck in their marriage.

But what happens once the religious ceremony is over? How does the new couple keep the presence of God in their lives? If they celebrated their union at a church in front of the eyes of God, does that mean that they will continue staying close to God? The reality is that most couples won’t.

Couples don’t realize that God’s presence in their lives is crucial all the time. They usually fail to remember how beneficial it is to go to church regularly and to pray on a daily basis.

God does not come back to a couple’s life until they start having problems, then they notice that something is missing in their relationship. This is when many couples think of God as the best source for help. But how do you approach God for help? The best and most effective way to reach God is through prayer.
